Day 1: The rental is ending
The landlord and tenant check the apartment, documenting any damages or outstanding payments.

Usually, it takes 30 to 60 minutes to take over the property and document damages or payment issues.
Required actions:
The landlord gathers evidence of damages (return protocol, photo documentation) or outstanding payments (bills) and asks the tenant to pay what should be paid.
If a tenant refuses to pay, the landlord proceeds with the 2nd step "Debt Reminder"
Day 2: Official debt reminder
The landlord issues an official debt reminder to the tenant. The tenant must have a chance to repay the obligation.

Day 3: Document Evaluation
We are recognizing claims and evaluate the provided documents and once they are fine, the debt assignment agreement is prepared for signing.

Takes 1 business day with complete documents provided to Rendin. It can take more, if the documents are not complete (use our support as early as possible).
The next step is waiting time until the end of the landlord’s debt reminder timeframe (mentioned in the 2nd step above).

No actions are required from the landlord.
If any documents are lacking our legal department will contact you. Make sure to provide them as fast as possible then not slow the compensation payment time.
Day 17: Assignment agreement preparation
The assignment agreement is prepared by Rendin and sent for digital signing by both parties (Rendin and the landlord).

Takes 1 business day to prepare an assignment agreement and get it signed by both parties. Usually 1 day.
Required actions:
Just ensure that the assignment agreement is correct and signed.
Last day
A bank transfer for the tenant’s outstanding payments and/or damages caused by the tenant as your compensation for rental losses.
