The Rendin fee replaces the traditional deposit, which can amount to several months' rent, significantly lowering the initial rental costs.
It is 2.5% of the monthly rent. For example, if your rent is 2,000 PLN, the Rendin fee will be 50 PLN. So instead of an initial deposit expense of three months' rent (6,000 PLN) plus the first month's rent (totalling 8,000 PLN), your initial rental cost will only be the only 2,000 PLN.
The Rendin fee is paid by the tenant by the 15th of the month, based on an invoice sent by Rendin on the 1st of the month.
